It all began yesterday when reports began to come out regarding Israel being in preparation and having plans fully set out to invade Gaza and dissect it into different areas, and eventually occupying it. Middle East Monitor made a post on their website referencing a report made by Ynet. Correspondent Ron Ben-Yisahi citing unnamed Israeli military officials, said that the Israeli Army is “already considering alternatives to the Hamas government”. If the government feels they’re required to launch an offensive into Gaza here’s how it’ll go down.
“The offensive missions inside the Strip will be carried out from now on by the IDF’s tip of the spear storming divisions, which—according to the plan—will enter Gaza and dissect it in two, and even occupy significant parts of it,”Ben-Yishai continued then, stating the following.
“The plan is based on three things: A strong protection of the western Negev and the Israeli home front, a systemic blow of fire in full force from the very first moment, and a quick broad manoeuvre into the Strip to dissect it and conquer parts of it.”
However, just a few hours ago Israel did something that I think most people didn’t really expect to happen. An Israeli drone struck a car carrying a Hamas Field Operator, there’s still no word on if he was killed or not however, just pure speculation that someone *might* be killed. I was actually asleep during this and I guess woke up at the perfect time, as I woke up a red alert was going off for a negev right inside of Israel just bordering the Gaza Strip. Israel actually didn’t respond with anything major at the time instead just staying quiet. Factions inside of Gaza began launching more rockets inside of Israel, relentlessly firing mortars/rockets. Reports of explosions were coming in from Gaza but nobody was able to confirm them, considering the fact that numerous times rockets/mortars have fallen back inside of Gaza instead of Israel sometimes when fired from Gaza. All in all I believe 19 rockets/mortars were fired into Israel (10 at once and 9 at once). I’m slightly worried that Israel’s simply waiting for Prince William to leave the country and they’ll come back with something large. Only time will tell I suppose?
