Israel retaliating for rocket fire on Tel Aviv

The Israeli Defense Force has struck approximately 40 different sites inside of the Gaza Strip over the past five hours, as a response to two rockets fired by the Hamas terrorist group (Israeli Defense Force independently confirmed Hamas was responsible).

Two Fajr-5 rockets were fired Thursday night from the Gaza Strip, both of them landing in the water, no injuries reported.

The Israeli Defense Force reported that the Iron Dome did fire missiles to intercept, but there were no interceptions reported by the Iron Dome.

This is the first time since the 2014 Israel-Gaza war that Tel Aviv has been under the gun of a rocket from the Gaza Strip.

Israeli jet strikes are continuing as of writing this post.
